UWA College is your pathway to studying at The University of Western Australia (UWA), a world top 100 university (QS World University Rankings 2023) and a member of the prestigious Group of Eight.

Everyone’s pathway to university is different, which is why UWA College provides a range of options to start your journey towards studying at UWA and achieving your career goals.

Our pathway programs help students adjust to life in Perth and learn the necessary study skills to succeed at UWA. Our programs are a great option if:

  • you need some help improving your English language skills

  • you don’t currently meet the direct entry requirements for UWA and need some additional academic support

  • you’ve just graduated from high-school and need some additional support to make the transition to university.

Learning facilities

Classes at UWA College are designed to maximize teacher-student interaction, with class sizes kept to a minimum for more personalized support. The College's facilities include:

  • modern, purpose-built classrooms where you’ll be taught in university-style seminars and lectures

  • open, social study areas where you’ll learn how to self-study and collaborate

  • experienced teachers and academic liaisons who will help monitor your progress.

UWA College is a modern, purpose-built student hub located in the center of campus. Overlooking the buzzing Oaks Lawn and nearby Guild Village - the social heart of the student community - you’ll feel part of the university from day one.

University facilities

As a student at UWA College, you'll also have access to the university's range of fantastic facilities:

  • Bayliss Building - The largest and most technically complex building on the UWA campus, this 17,000-square-metre building houses advanced research labs on each floor.

  • The Reid Library - Housing more than 2,000 study spaces, the awarding-winning Reid Library has collaborative project spaces, high-tech group work rooms, a 3D printing lab and café.

  • UWA Student Central - Need help during your studies? UWA Admissions, Future Students, Student Administration, the Global Learning Office, and Student Support Services are all located in Student Central.

  • UWA Guild Village - Looking for study snacks? The Guild Village is a one-stop shop for all your student needs. Includes a café, bookshop, pharmacy and more.

  • UWA Recreation and Fitness Centre - Get fit at UWA's world-class sports center! Boasting modern equipment and facilities available for social, competitive or solo activities from gym hire to sports events.
