INTO Oregon State University offers a range of degree programs that are proven to help international students progress to undergraduate and graduate degrees in the US. The center has a number of English language programs for professional or everyday use. You choose your path to success with flexible learning options available on campus or online.

Note: Certain classes like labs may have additional fees included. Additionally, particular programs may have additional entry requirements or prerequisites like auditions or portfolios.

Direct Entry

Direct Entry is the standard university admission route to apply directly to a degree program.

International Year One

International Year One is a supportive program that allows students to earn credits towards their degree while providing additional academic, cultural and language support customized for international students.

Transfer Program

Undergraduate Transfer Program (UTP) is a customized study plan that offers academic, cultural and language support to international students who will be transferring college credit across to their degree.

International Direct

International Direct is the direct entry option for international students and is designed to give first year undergraduates tailored international academic and cultural support as part of the university's first-year experience.

Every International Direct student has a customized schedule to meet the academic and programmatic needs of the individual.

Graduate Pathway

Graduate Pathway is a supportive program that allows students to earn credits towards their degree while providing additional academic, cultural and language support customized for international students

Master's International Direct

Master's International Direct provides non-competitive direct entry to a select set of OSU Master's Degrees, coupled with academic and advising support during a student's first term.

  • MID programs lead to professional degrees such as a Master's of Engineering (MEng), Professional Science Master's (PSM) or Master's of Science in Business (MSB).
  • MID students take a class focused on international graduate student success in their first term. This class is credited but does not count towards the degree.

Academic English

Our Academic English program prepares you for your university degree by improving your English language skills and providing the tools needed to succeed at a US university. Learn from our qualified faculty with academic and professional experiences inside and outside of the classroom. Better yet, you will have the chance to practice your English during your everyday life with native English speakers. Throughout your program, you will receive customized support for international student success.
